Curitiba, one of the biggest metropolis in the South of the country, is considered a highly sustainable city, thanks to its many parks and a series of environmentally-minded initiatives. But it is also the Brazilian city with the highest number of cars per capita. I was just in Curitiba for almost a month, and I was kind of shocked how jammed the cars are now compared to my last trip five years ago. It’s getting to be a mess and will only get worse. As for bicycles, wow, what risk. But as for motorcycles, lord help them and good luck in staying alive. But it’s still a great city…
