Due to Christmas, Brazilian weekly magazines released their new issues today, earlier than usual. Last week, both Veja and Época delivered their traditional Jesus cover (more predictable than Santa Claus dressed for snow, even in the tropics). This week, Isto É offers its own Jesus cover (“Jesus Mysteries”). Veja and Época, also predictable, review 2009 and do some futurology. Finally, Carta Capital, that often discusses political issues, speculates who might be the vice-president candidate on Dilma Roussef´s ticket (Lula´s favorite).
